lacunae for the burrowing pine mouse
work created at the djerassi resident artists program 2005
materials: pine needles & recycled plastic pipe
dimensions:  placed intermittantly in a pine grove: approximately 20' x 25'
This area was alive with animals that live underground – voles, moles, snakes and rabbits.  Lacunae brought attention to the life-filled realm seething just beneath the surface.
